The Trust has employed two new Practice Educators to support staff in practice and help achieve competencies and education programmes.
We are also exploring different rotational programmes. One will be for experienced staff seeking to gain opportunities for promotion and will explore risk management, recruitment and retentions.
Assistance with accommodation may be available to support those looking to relocate to the area. This would involve providing three months single hospital accommodation, giving individuals time to settle in.

We launched our values - The DCH Way - after seeking input from staff throughout the organisation.

Underpinning each of our values is a set of behaviours that we all sign up to—what we all expect to see in each other and the way that we pledge to behave as we go about our work each day.
As work continues we will see our values becoming part of everything we do, including recruitment, appraisal, induction and leadership development. Our values will also form the basis of our revised Patient Charter.
