ICT Department

The ICT department provides a number of services to the organisation including:

  • Customer help desk;
  • Data and voice networks;
  • Hardware and software installation;
  • Support for all desktop PCs, laptops and printers;
  • Support for all Microsoft Office products;
  • Advice and guidance about new developments, including business cases;
  • Project management;
  • Small scale development work;
  • Free training in all MS Office products and ECDL.

Our goal is to provide a one–stop professional quality service delivered in a timely, cost effective manner. The department operates within the framework of the corporate IT Strategy and the Dorset wide Local Implementation Strategy (LIS) which in turn reflects the local delivery of the national strategy, Information for Health.
