X-ray examination uses electromagnetic radiation to make images of your bones, teeth and internal organs. It is a fast, easy and painless examination that allow doctors to quickly diagnose conditions like a broken bone or even pneumonia.

We provide radiographs of:

Safety Information

X-Rays expose patients to some amount of radiation. If you have any questions regarding radiations, consult your doctor/radiologist. Women should inform their doctors of any possibility of being pregnant before a scan is carried out. You may also be asked to remove jewellery, spectacles and any metal objects or clothing that might interfere with the x-ray images.

Dental Radiography at Dorchester is performed in the East Wing department.

Timings:
9am to 5pm
Out of hours services are provided for emergency patients being referred from the wards and casualty.

Appointments:
X-rays are taken without prior appointments at Dorchester from 12pm to 5pm. You are requested to contact the satellite units for appointments. Radiology staff at satellite units may not be able to see you without prior appointment.
