Outstanding Care, Outstanding Careers
Nurse Recruitment Open Day 2019
We will be hosting a Nurse Recruitment Open Day from 10am until 2pm on Saturday 9 March in our Education Centre (East Wing Level 0).
There will be nursing vacancies for registered nurses to apply to, plus opportunities for anyone with a lapsed registration seeking a return to nursing - so remember to bring your CV and you can talk to us about employment and training. Full and part-time hours are available, as well as bank contracts and set working patterns.
If you have ever wanted to be a nurse, then now is the time! We have places available to do a nursing apprenticeship where you can qualify on the job.
Please register your interest by applying here prior to the open day. Should you wish to secure an interview at the event, please contact recruitment on 01305 253 299.
We are looking for staff who wish to develop their career in an exceptional hospital.
At Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust we never settle for average. Our teams are committed to providing an excellent standard of care that goes beyond the ordinary.
West Dorset is a beautiful part of the country with wonderful countryside and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
Whatever your outdoor pursuit you can find it here - walking, climbing and water sports, sailing, surfing & diving! You will find excellent transport links to London and Bath. For further information about the area visit: www.dorsetforyou.com
The Trust has employed two new Practice Educators to support staff in practice and help achieve competencies and education programmes.
We are also exploring different rotational programmes. One will be for experienced staff seeking to gain opportunities for promotion and will explore risk management, recruitment and retentions.
Assistance with accommodation may be available to support those looking to relocate to the area. This would involve providing three months single hospital accommodation, giving individuals time to settle in.
Please contact our friendly recruitment team on 01305 254655 or firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more or click here for our recruitment pages.
We launched our values - The DCH Way - after seeking input from staff throughout the organisation.
Thanks to the feedback we received, each of our values—Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Excellence— truly reflect what we all feel is most important.
Underpinning each of our values is a set of behaviours that we all sign up to—what we all expect to see in each other and the way that we pledge to behave as we go about our work each day.
As work continues we will see our values becoming part of everything we do, including recruitment, appraisal, induction and leadership development. Our values will also form the basis of our revised Patient Charter.
