Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act came into force on 1 January 2004. The Act deals with access to official information, while parallel regulations deal with environmental information.
The Act provides individuals or organisations with the right to request information held by a public authority. These requests must be made in writing, either by letter or by email. For Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust letters should be sent to:
