Set up full Cardiology Service at DCH starting in 1993 as first Cardiologist in the trust, continuing development of service now as clinical lead for Dorset County Cardiac Centre.
Was Clinical Lead for Pan-Dorset Cardiac Network for 15 years.

Clinical lead for percutaneous coronary intervention in Dorset County Hospital Foundation NHS Trust. Trained in the use of all percutaneous coronary devices and treatments and leading expert on new coronary treatments for revascularisation.

Introduced the service of percutaneous coronary intervention. Pioneered angioplasty as a day-case procedure. Setting up a primary angioplasty service for treatment of heart attacks.

Background
I  am  general cardiologist with a special interest is cardiac rhythm management, ablation and device therapy.
I have been a Consultant Cardiologist & Electrophysiologist since 2011 having previously set up the Electrophysiology & Ablation service in Norfolk, at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.
During this period I also worked at the Barts Heart Centre the largest ablation center in the UK where I undertook more complex ablation work.
I then relocated back to Dorset County Hospital in 2017 with my family to return to the beautiful south coast.
Since then I have led the arrhythmia service at Dorset County Hospital for our patients in West Dorset.

I run our arrhythmia clinics (in Dorchester) and also see patients in a Weymouth clinic.

I perform catheter ablation for all types of arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, SVT's and Ventricular Tachycardia.

I implant pacemakers, defibrillators and heart failure/complex devices
