Patient Experience and Engagement

Coronavirus Update

In line with current Government guidance regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we are unable to hold face-to-face meetings with patients regarding any concerns they wish to raise. However patients can still raise any concerns by emailing either pals@dchft.nhs.uk or complaints@dchft.nhs.uk or by leaving a message on the PALS telephone number: 0800 7838058 and a member of the team will be in contact.

Due to the current unprecedented demand on our hospital with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak we are unable to undertake an investigation into your complaint at this time as the clinical teams have been asked to ensure immediate patient safety care is a priority.  Please be assured that your complaint is important to us and will be fully investigated once our clinical teams are able to complete these investigations.

This section is for patients, their relatives, carers or friends. It provides information as to how you can give us feedback on the care received to yourself, a member of your family or friend.

Our mission is to provide outstanding care for people in ways which matter to them. Your feedback is therefore key to help us achieve this mission and continuously improve our service to all our patients.

If you were particularly impressed by the care you received from either an individual or team at Dorset County Hospital, please consider nominating them for a Hospital Hero Award

More information about our Patient Experience and Engagement team  and the service they offer, as well as their contact details, can be found here.
