Therapies - Women's Health

Who are we?

We are qualified MCSP physiotherapists specialising in the field of Uro-Gynaecology and Obstetrics.

What do we do?

We help to alleviate pain and improve muscle strength, restoring function to muscles and joints.

What will happen at your appointment?

You will be fully assessed by one of our experienced team and given the appropriate advice and treatment.

How do you get referred to the Women’s Health Service?

Your GP, Midwife or Consultant needs to complete a Physiotherapy Referral form and send it to the Rehabilitation Department.

As soon as we receive your referral, we will send you a letter asking you to contact our bookings phone line to arrange an appointment.

What conditions do we treat?

Usually as an out patient service we offer:

Ante and postnatal musculoskeletal problems,

Pelvic Floor Dysfunction eg. Urinary incontinence and vaginal prolapse.

Male post-op urinary incontinence.

Unfortunately, we are only able to offer a very limited inpatient service for the above conditions.
