Pride Network

We are delighted to launch our Pride Network as part of our ongoing work to make DCH a fully inclusive organisation where everyone feels welcomed and valued.

The group will provide a safe space to discuss any issues or concerns affecting this community of colleagues, giving people the chance to have their say and feed into the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Steering Group with the aim of promoting an inclusive working environment.

The DCH Pride Network will be having an informal drop-in meeting on 18 May 2021 in the Boardroom at Trust HQ from 5pm. You can attend in person or via Lifesize. If you would like more information or would like to attend the meeting please get in touch with Network Chair Kiran Karda at kiran.karda@dchft.nhs.uk

Disability and Long Term Health Condition Network

We are excited to launch our Disability and Long Term Health Condition Network to further improve the staff experience of Inclusion and wellbeing within the Trust. Within the Network, you will be able to speak freely about your lived experiences, express any frustrations that have arisen during your time in the Trust, and have your comments fed back to the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Steering Group in order to help our efforts in making DCH a better place to work. We will also be glad to welcome any carers of those with disabilities and/or long term health conditions and will happily offer space for you to discuss your experiences and concerns.

The Disability and LTHC Network will be launching with a meet and greet held in the Trust HQ boardroom on 26 May from 5pm to 6.30pm where you will be free to ask any questions, raise concerns, and chat further about the Network. If you would like more information or would like to attend the meeting, please get in touch with the Network Chair Angela Lederer on angela.lederer@dchft.nhs.uk

Diversity Network

Our Diversity Network is determined to provide a safe, supportive, confidential space for its members to share their experiences and thoughts in an environment where individuals feel accepted and valued. To embrace an inclusive environment at DCH, we would like to embrace the voices of individuals and put them forward into the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Steering Group. We will give members the opportunity to network with others, signpost them to improvement opportunities and encouraging cross collaboration working to bring about success.

We have a new chair for our Diversity Network, Sharon Cocker. Sharon can be contacted at sharon.cocker@dchft.nhs.uk
