Background
My specialist haematology training was undertaken in South Wales which provided an excellent basis of general haematology. After a short term locum as Consultant Haematologist in University Hospital Wales, I moved to Dorset County Hospital and took a substantive post.

Special interests
Malignant haematology including: Lymphoma, CLL, Myeloma and plasma cell dyscrasias, Myelodysplastic syndrome.
General Haematology including: Unexplained anaemia, ITP and Autoimmune haemolytic anaemia.
General coagulation and thrombosis diagnostic and management.

New treatments introduced
Promoting national clinical trials to improve our understanding of haematological disorders and the management of them.
