Dorset County Hospital is proud to be supporting the Government’s Kickstart Scheme by offering 46 placements across the Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people aged 16 to 24 who are claiming Universal Credit to gain valuable workplace experience.
The Kickstart Scheme is part of the Government’s ‘Plan for Jobs’ and underlines the Trust’s commitment to create employment and training opportunities for young people within our local communities.
We have 46 roles across the Trust which will see participants working in areas such as Healthcare support, Facilities and Estates support, Catering, Procurement and Administration. Further information can be obtained from Tony Armstrong (Kickstart Scheme Co-ordinator) at email@example.com
This is an exciting and very rewarding opportunity which will give participants a wealth of experience and exposure to new skills. Placements are 25 hours per week over six months.
The first cohort of Kickstart employees are due to start at Dorset County Hospital in June 2021.
If you, or someone you know meets the criteria and would like more details on how to apply for a placement please ask them to speak to their DWP Work Coach as a matter of urgency.
